Autumn 2010 - London visit, school and sitting up

Autumn 2010 has flown by and the pictures below summarise what we have been up to.

Late October of course saw Halloween which Megan, Charlie, Jake and Isaac embraced enthusiastically as did the youth of Burley.

Keith managed to complete his first 10K fell race and the day after climb Beamsley Beacon with Jessica on his back with the Rigarlsford boys (+Dad) and Megan.

Linda and her sister Kate had a pamper day and night away at a Spa and Linda has started to prepare for her return to work with her first London visit since March (for work).

Speaking of London, we had a fab three nights there in October for Bridget and Neil's wedding party at which we caught up with lots of friends (see simon and Jess below).

We also visited the museums and London Zoo where Megan and Jessica met some old relatives.

Megan has settled in at School well, and as Jessica now sits up well and tyeh sisters have started to play, bath and interact together, which is great.

Megan has Charlie to stay on Mondays after school and Megan goes to Charlie's house after school on Tuesday. With at least one other play at someones house every other week we are kept busy with parents evenings, magic shows, school fayres etc. etc.

Megan also has a week as her class super kid which involved additional responsibilities and custody of superted for the weekend - a big responsibility!!!!

So onward to Christmas and 2011 - frightening

July and August 2010 - Summer of growth, camping, parties and summery stuff

Well tomorrow morning will be September and though it may not have been a scorcher of a summer we have been busy and made the best.

Highlights include camping in Wharfedale, visits to Heald Green, a mini break in Swaledale, a visit from Linda's brother and various parties, walks and days out.

Megan has only two more days at nursery before starting at School next week.

Jessica gows and grows and now has solids twice a day.

At the beginning of August we had a party to welcome Jessica with a beautiful cake and a semi formal ceremony in which Megan got stage fright.

So enjoy the images here and all the best to you all.

May and June fly by - Holidays, visits and adventures for all 4

May and June have flown by in a flurry of bank holidays, visits by us, visits to us and a week holiday at Center Parcs in Cumbria.

Throughout Jessica has grown, taken bigger feeds and thankfully started to sleep through the night - well almost.

Linda's parents paid a visit to see all their grand children in Burley and meet Jessica for the first time.

The paddling pool has been out a couple of times and we have visted Harewood House for a Peppa Pig/Noddy event, Ilkley Carnival and Lightwater park. Megan has had a lot of rides and treats.

We have also constructed a climbing frame/slide/swing in the garden for the girls and to date Megan has made good use of the swing with friends (real and imaginary).

The rest of the summer stretches out before us and before Megan starts school in September. An excellent week at Center Parcs saw lots of Red Squirrel encounters.

Now we are four - family visit and Bank Holiday

A brief update. Megan is helping me with this blog and wishes to say I LOVE YOU to everyone reading this.

Jess is asleep in her bouncer and we are getting ready to go to the Ilkley Carnival. Jess is now in the grove or drink, poo, sleep, drink, poo, sleep etc.. and growing rapidly.

Last weekend we visited Grandma and Grandad Kelly and Uncle Nigel, Ann and Amber came to meet Jessica and play with Megan (amusing video below).

The general election has kepy Keith busy on various blogs and we are preparing for the delivery of a new playground for the girls to be erected in the garden next week - come on suburban bliss.

5th April - 3 goes to 4 Jessica Rose Kelly arrives

On 5th April, Jessica Rose Kelly arrived at 3:38 AM. Mum and baby doing well and came home the next day. Jessica weighed 3.3kg or 7lb 6 oz's in old money.

Megan very excited. A quick labour could have been very different if we had left going to the hospital for an hour more, could have been a home birth. First contraction 12:10 AM, Jessica born 3:38 AM the same night.

Jessica is a feisty red head like mother and big sister. Currently bears a striking resemblance to Megan when first born.

Easter weekend 2010 certainly will be remembered and many thanks to Sister Kate and the Naylors and the Rigarlsfords for their help. Below are some other pictures including Megan's day out with the Rigarlsfords on Good Friday to Brimham Rocks.
