Nov and Dec 08

Some highlights of the past few weeks.
As you can see Megan likes to dress as a fairy.
A great weekend in the Dales with the Rigarlsfords in a lovely cottage.
Village Christmas lights and fair were also great.
Mummy and daddy kept busy at work and redecorating the living and dining room. All the best for 2009.

We also has some snow which Megan enjoyed - see below.

October Update

We have neglected the blog recently so here is a blast through 2008.

Jan-March - Keith got one job for three weeks has two days off and then started another. Linda got her old job back and Megan turned two.

March - May - We bought a house moved in and Megan started nursery

Mat to Now - We settled into the house. Had several great weekends away. Battled a rather inclement Yorkshire summer and had a nice holday in Portugal in late September.

We have seen Keith's parents quite a bit and Linda's parents came up for a long weekend to see the Kelly's and the Naylor's (Linda's sister, husband and two boys) who live about 200 metres away.

We started to make the garden productive in terms of veg and thankfully Keith's DIY skills were not needed as the house is only 11 years old and in good nick.

So more from us before Christmas.

March 2008 update

Hi All. We have been back almost three months and quite a lot has happened.

Firstly, Megan has blossomed, turned two and started at nursery. She has lots of new friends in the village and her language is developing alarmingly fast - we have to be very careful around her!!!! There's a short video at the bottom showing some typical two year old behaviour!

We are still in our rented house and have started house hunting without any success - yet. Linda has amazingly got her old job back. She works from home three days a week and every four weeks will spend one or two nights in London. When working from home she has an arduous 5 minute commute across the park to drop Megan off at nursery.

Keith has had an interesting time with jobs. He started in late January as Head of Communications for the road safety charity Brake. After two and half weeks of stress, TV interviews and lots of heartache Keith left due to irreconcilable differences with the Chief Exec. However he started after two days of unemployment with WhizzGo (a Car Club) as Area Manager for Yorkshire and The North East and is loving it.

Love, Keith, Linda and Megan

P.S. Keith also turned 40
